i have been slacking a lot on my training due to overworking. thanks for the reminder bigdave. it was really hot today so my bike ride was pretty brutal. i think it has like 2500 gain in elevation so that didnt help to much. but i made it to the top without puking or passing out so i thought that was pretty good. even managed to run a little bit afterwords.
i figure its nine weeks until i am supposed to peak and i feel that i can make it. it may be hard to pull it off but why not give it a shot. i am not trying to win….just finish(i know at least one person on this site thinks thats not a good enough reason, but i am not doing it for them i am doing this for me). think i will register for the race now to give me some added motivation.
